San Francisco: Hog Island Oyster

In the Bay Area and want some fresh seafood?  It’s EVERYWHERE!  From all the wonderful reviews, we had decided to explore Hog Island Oyster in the Ferry Building near Fisherman’s Wharf.

If you get stuck in line like we did, suck it up.  It is totally worth the wait.  EVERYTHING here is delicious and extremely fresh!

Halibut Crudo

Chipotle Bourbon BBQ oysters….yum. I typically don’t prefer my oyster cooked, and was really hesitant to order these….but they did not disappoint.  They were seriously probably the most amazing oysters I’ve ever had the pleasure of swallowing.

The freshness level is 100% on these babies .

Clams.  Savory, clean, fresh, what more could you ask for?
